Sustainable ports - Ecotech meeting

Ecomesure has been selected to present its environmental monitoring solutions during the webinar "Innovative solutions for sustainable ports" on Thursday, December 3.

This 100% digital event is organized by the PEXE, the French cleantech network and the French Agency for ecological transition ADEME, in partnership with the Union of French ports, the International Association of port cities, the French shipowners' federation and the French marine cluster.

The aim of this meeting between French and international ports, SME and mid-cap companies, and public institutions is to discuss ecological and energy transition but also innovative technological solutions.

Port areas and air quality

Port areas and their effects on air quality are at the core of environmental and public health concerns. Indeed, marine transport is the source of about 3,3% of global carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) and 2% of global black carbon emissions.  A significant part of nitrogen oxide emissions (NOx), sulfur oxide (SOx), and fine particulate matter (PM10, PM2,5) also comes from port zones in addition to urban pollution.

As air quality is a high priority issue for the sustainability of ports, Ecomesure will speak about the implementation of air quality, noise, wind speed and direction monitoring solutions on port sites from 11:40 a.m to 12:15 p.m.

Discover the full program and join us to discuss during business meetings but also to understand the port national strategy and the issues of dozen ports (Le Havre, Dunkerque, Marseille, Montreal...).
