Sustainable City and Smart City

On the morning of Wednesday, 4 November, Ecomesure will take part in a webinar about sustainable cities.

Co-hosted by the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, and the Research Institute for Sustainable Urban Development (RISUD) and Innovation and Technology Development Office (ITDO) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, this lecture will focus on water management and air pollution in cities.

These two topics are at the core of sustainable development goals defined by the United Nations in 2015.

Indeed, 40% of urban areas have water supply issues and cities account for close to 70% of carbon emissions in the world. They are the places where the risks of respiratory diseases due to air pollution are the highest. Moreover, urbanization is developing: two-thirds of the world population will live in urban areas by 2050.

Through speakers' views, experiences, and good practices from university and industrial environment, this webinar will be the opportunity to understand to what extent Smart Cities can tackle these issues.

Our easy-to-use and affordable monitoring connected devices can fully be integrated into Smart Cities furniture and give access to reliable air quality data.

Register now to attend our CEO presentation. He will share with you our air quality monitoring devices use cases in the Asian region.
